Where to find Godrick the Grafted
Following the game’s story campaign will lead you to Godrick. Follow the path to the fog gate guarded by a gigantic troll and two Exile Knights. A Site of Grace is outside Godrick’s arena, to the right. So heal and arm yourself before you face him.
Summon the friendly NPC Nepheli to fight Godrick
You can summon the friendly NPC Nepheli to help you fight Godrick. Her summon sign is right outside the fog gate, making her an ally.
She’ll draw half of Godrick’s attention, allowing you to hit him. You can also use Spirit Summons to gain more allies. To summon Nepheli, first find her and talk to her. She’s in a room off the road outside Godrick’s arena, near the bend.
How to defeat Godrick the Grafted
Godrick isn’t as challenging as Margit the Fell because he isn’t as fast. But he’s still aggressive and powerful, and can kill in a few strikes.
First, Godrick will flail his axe around madly, leaving little gaps to attack him before you must dodge. After his combo, he’ll swing his axe vertically into the ground, recovering a few seconds. So slam him with all your might and flee.
His axe blows are lethal and cover a lot of ground, so melee fighters must be careful. You can also assault him from afar. Don’t let him get close, or you’ll die in his combo.
How to defeat Godrick the Grafted in second phase
Godrick will then grab a dead dragon and get the ability to breathe fire. These attacks deal massive AOE fire damage, so if you have any fire-resistant armour, wear it immediately. Or, ideally, before the combat.
This dragon fire may instantly destroy weaker players and has a crazy range. Rest and potshot when you can. If you hit Godrick hard enough, he’ll stagger and you can go in for a critical.
